TERMS & CONDITIONS & WARRANTY
By leaving your device with us you accept our Automatic terms and conditions of warranty agreement :the minimum booking fee for the repair or assessment of your device is $145.00 unless advised by our management. This fee applies to each device and is non-refundable even if the device is NOT repairable. This fee covers technician time to asses the device.: You understand & accept that our business, our employees (and any subcontractors we use) may not be warranty repair agents & therefore any repair work attempted may void the balance of any manufacturer warranty on your device. By leaving your device with us you agree to not hold us liable for any Damage caused by you in any Method packaging of transit and delivery of your device to our store and that we are not liable for costs or replacement of your device due to any damage caused in the process of your repair .: You Understand that Due to the Fragile Nature of Led/Lcd Technology We ask that all LED LCD Television Panels are to be securely packaged and boxed in supportive foam when transporting to our store, so as to avoid accidental damage during transport to us - liquid crystal display screens on new led television panels are exposed at the front of the panel and NO protection membrane or plastic or glass is in front to protect from cracking or internal breakage from a impact this includes all Control Boards & cabling , the original Mounting stand must be supplied with the television where possible. : the utmost care is taken by our Staff and Technicians in our workshop and correct methods and tools are used in the removal of your tv lcd panel and installation or storage and safe return back to you Gippsland Electronics trading as Wayne's electronic repairs - are not held Liable or responsible for any foreseen damages Cracks or damage to the screen or its integrity during transportation via you or any third party or freight company. You Understand that we are not held liable or responsible for any Manufacturing defect of the Screen under warranty or if your warranty has expired while under going any repair work with us .: You understand that new and/or refurbished parts may be used to complete your repair. Under Australian Consumer Law this means we must tell you that “Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.” You agree this does not mean we will completely replace your device, but rather the repair part(s) used to complete your repair may be new and/or refurbished. You understand & accept that you should contact us to arrange payment and/or collection of your device within 90 days of booking. If your property is not collected within 90 days you consent to transferring ownership of the items to our business Gippsland Electronic repair Trading as Wayne's Electronic Repairs Your item may then be then on-sold or recycled to recover costs. We do not need to seek your permission to do this & you will forfeit any right or claim over those items and/or any fee/deposit originally paid. All repairs completed by our technician come with a three (3) month in-store warranty. Warranty is limited to parts/labor of the failed component only (ie the part that was replaced). Our warranty does not cover existing manufactures parts that are subject to deteriation of parts over everyday constant use this includes optical lasers motors nylon gears servo control mechanisms transformers and belts stylus magnetic devices & semiconductors and IC micro chips hard disk drives or return postage costs, your loss of use, loss of data, additional work or other incidental costs/losses. Warranty does not apply to damages like cracked or broken screens, dents, scratches, liquid spills or other accidental damage. Warranty is also not available for repair parts purchased in-store where the parts are not installed by our technician. We reserve the right to refuse warranty on items displaying any physical damage at our discretion. By not entering into this agreement we have the right to refuse repair or receive your device into our care by any of our staff or management at Gippsland electronic Repairs & Trading as Wayne's Electronic Repairs .
